She comes from a background, of almost 10 years, of sales expertise selling Microsoft and various technology platforms. She brings a positive attitude, charisma, and a strong relationship building rapport to better accommodate her real estate clients.

Alan’a Thornton attended Coastal Carolina University and earned a B.A. in Political Science graduating with a 4.0 GPA, at the top of her class. While living in DC, and working at the Office of Attorney General helped cultivate her negotiating skills, which gave her a unique insight into understanding and evaluating complex situations.

Giving back to the community is an important fundamental component of her life. Alan’a loves to volunteer and give back to the community through various organizations such as Junior League, Habitat for Humanity, United Way, and Girl Up GVL. Over the years, she has mentored young girls to encourage them to reach their goals and strive for success. She is also a host and speaker at various events. Alan’a has an infectious personality that you will want to work with to make you feel comfortable in the home buying and selling process. Alan’a’s values are integrity and honesty, which she provides to all her clients.

She is a part of the National Realtors Association of Realtors® and has completed the Code of Ethics Certification. She continues to educate herself on the latest market trends and certifications.

Alan’a is extremely adventurous and loves to be outdoors whether hiking in the Paris Mountain or swimming in the ocean at Charleston beach!

In her free time, she enjoys indulging in diverse cultures by being a food connoisseur and traveling the world to places like Belize, Paris, and Amsterdam, just to name a few.
